Titanium dioxide whose CAS NO is 13463-67-7 have the Melting point of 1840 C and the Boiling Point of 2900 C. at the temperature 25 C , its density is 4.26 g/mL. titanium is insoluble in water.
Titanium dioxide ( LookChem ) is the most widely used white pigment. It is used as a white food colouring.
In cosmetic and skin care products, titanium dioxide is used both as a pigment and a thickener. It is also used as a tattoo pigment and styptic pencils. It is also used as a hydrolysis catalyst. It is also used in the Graetzel cell, a type of chemical solar cell. It offers great potential as an industrial technology for detoxification or remediation of wastewater. It is also used in resistance-type lambda probes. It is also used as a material in the memristor, a new electronic circuit element. It is also used by film and television companies as a substitute for snow when filming scenes which require a winter setting.
