At present, the development and utilization of indium is just beginning in China. but smelting and purification of indium has a long history. With exploitation and utilization of indium and indium compounds more and more, people will increase the chance to contact with indium. The toxicity of indium and indium compounds will be much accounted of.
Besides indium trichloride and sulfuric acid indium, there is little gastrointestinal absorption of indium salt. plasma protein can be combined with indium in blood, rapid transfer into soft tissue and bone. clown While the colloidal indium can not be combined with plasma protein, but can be delivered to liver and spleen after be engulfed by white blood cells. most of indium in body main accumulate in the bones, most of indium can accumulate in the skin and muscle with subcutaneous injection, most of indium can be accumulated in indium mesenteric and liver with intraperitoneal injection.
