| Based on 2008 data here are the predictions
1. Rank<5000 : The branch of your choice
2. Rank<7000 : On the borderline for top branches CS,ECE
3. Rank<10000 : Branches EEE, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, etc for sure.
4. Rank<13000 : U will get the lower branches but in the second counselling
I got them from a person who visited counseling in 2008

| education there is good!!! such currptions go on in every place!!! its not the fault of the students studyin there!!!!
and the job placements are g8!!! 
the only trouble ul have is................. food cooked in cocunut oil!!!  |

| G-7 is from Kerala ..... you might be used to coconut oil
i love south Indian food[but i haven't eaten South Indian food @South India] so i might not have prob with their food in case i have to go there....
G-7 can you plz. tell something about the climate of south .... does vellore gets winter rain too(i think chennai gets winter rain).. Any idea...

| | I dont have much idea about the kind of education in VIT or the faculty, but the placements are definitely not less than the NIT's if not more. I've heard that a mechanical student on an average bags a package of 8-9 lacs.......and as far as coconut oil is concerned....I think I'll get used to it as long as I get those yummy spicy dhosas....hahaaa cheers !!!! |
