These questions could be imp for comp..pls answer them if u know..they are from Oswal Comp papers..

1. Find the complement of F(a,b,c,d) using De Morgan's laws.Show the relevant reasoning. ( Is the question correct ?? Question )

2. Convert the following product-of-sums form into its corresponding sum-of-products form :
F(x,y,z)=pi(2,4,6,7)
( How to do this ??)

i am not sure of the first question but the second is done using K map..!!

use K map to fill the corresponding cells with 0 [as it is a POS] and the rest of the cells will be the SOP..write them out using corresponding indices and simplify them..!

it sounds difficult but it is quite easy...!!!

i figured out another way ..though im not very sure of the logic..
convert 2,4,6,7 to their binary form..
complement it..
and convert back to integers..
ul get the SOP nos--5,3,1,0
now u can get F..

soln:
(X'YZ + X'Y'Z)'
