A food chain includes many organisms with continued eating & being eaten.
eg: grass -> grasshopper -> snake -> vulture

Many food chains linked together form a food web.

A food pyramid includes different organisms arranged in the form of pyramid.
(includes trophic levels)
It will have most number of organisms at the bottom & the least at the top.
It will not have more than 6 trophic levels according to '10% Law'
(only 10% of energy received is transferred to the next trophic level.)

A Food Pyramid or Ecological Pyramid is a graphical representation designed to show the relationship between energy and trophic levels of a given ecosystem. Most commonly, this relationship is demonstrated through the number of individuals at a given trophic level, the amount of biomass at a given trophic level, or the amount of energy at a given trophic level. All Ecological Pyramids begin with producers on the bottom and proceed through the various trophic levels, the highest of which is on top.
Carnivores will be present at the top.
